A few years ago I became interested in gamification and multimedia as a way to enhance my classes and create better engagement with a younger generation.
I fell in love with the concept and I think you will too.
While there is a wealth of information on gamification available most of it seems to be very academic in nature and tends to either be an explanation of what gamification is or research on the merits and process of applying it. Very few sources of practical implementation, aside from a few case studies, are available, and it took some experimentation before I found workable strategies.
Here I will show you how I implemented it, the software, techniques and processes I used and give feedback on what worked and what did not.
